“Bb Mix Jamz Vol. III: Look At All Those Sleepy Geese”

I made my mister another CD for his commute, this time I made it with collage and colored pencil.
I also drew a pretty nice looking snoozy goose on the disc itself, but he already lost it   :’-[

DRAGON(fiber)GLASS cast!!

Truthfully, Blais did most (all) of the work turning my leg into a dragon.
I couldn't reach my feet well enough without feeling my bones grind and gnaw on my nerve.
We wanted the toes to look less gross and more like tongues wiggling at you.

Jump to gross ...

the last year...

...has been so so difficult, but also beautiful.
I haven't been inspired but here's a couple things from my sketchbook last year that I want to share.

Slate of Rhode Island

I made a paste from ground up blue chalk to paint a map on a slab of slate shaped like Rhode Island Blais kept in his car as a surprise for him.

An Club Cruinn

Patrick Freeman asked me to make a little logo for his new folk music club An Club Cruinn!

First meeting is November 16 at the Roundy Bar in Cork City, Ireland
and features John Flynn and Kilian O'Flanagan

'Cruinn' is the Irish word for 'round',
but it also can mean 'perfect' (as in the way a circle is perfect)
and would be related to the word 'cruinniú' which is a meeting.

I'm just going to keep on doing these triangles until I feel done with them.
I'm in the process of relocating my home and job,
and the repetition of patterns calm me.
Bear with me.
